Brand story

  • A young girl's parents are singing the birthday song to her on her birthday.

"When I was little, my parents sang the birthday song to me. Wearing a polka-dot dress, I smiled at my mom while holding the cake knife, not knowing much but feeling happy."

CEO story

What was your favorite time during your childhood?

Playful yet shy, I always cherished dinner time with my family the most. The comforting aroma of rice cooking in the pot, the bubbling sound of soybean paste stew, and the sight of my mother preparing delicious dishes. As a child, I would set the table with utensils for the family, sneaking bites of the side dishes my mother made. I thought my parents wouldn't notice, but the sauces left around my mouth always gave me away. Each time, my father would wipe my mouth and give me another bite, diffusing the situation with laughter. The table was always filled with stories and laughter, and though I didn't understand everything, the pure happiness of seeing my family smile is a memory I cherish as if it were a page from a book.

After graduating and growing up while studying and working, I found myself longing for those warm family meals from my childhood. Every day would end with my family, sharing simple yet joyful and warm moments. Recalling the utensils and cutlery that were always present at our laughter-filled family meals, I wanted to gift others with the same happy memories I experienced. Thus, I decided to create cutlery that embodies the pure smile of my childhood.

Bapmoo story

Would you like to join us for a delightful mealtime together?

Having lived my whole life in Korea, I deeply cherish Korean culture. In Korea, there is a profound cultural respect for food. Whether in times of joy, sorrow, comfort, or greeting, Koreans often ask, “Have you eaten?” Even during a marriage proposal, it's common to hear, “I won't let you go hungry.” This deep connection with food has been rooted in Korean culture for a long time.

Sharing a meal with loved ones is more than just eating. It is a time to connect emotionally, communicate, and strengthen bonds. People everywhere, not just in Korea, value the time spent with loved ones. Sharing delicious food, sitting around the table, conversing, and laughing together brings immense happiness.

In Korea, giving flatware as a gift symbolizes wishing for the recipient’s good blessings and good health. These utensils are essential tools used daily, and thus, the recipient will constantly be reminded of the giver's thoughtfulness and gratitude every time they use them.

My dream is to bring smiles and blessings to every household around the world. I hope every moment you spend with us is healthy and joyful.

Bapmoo is not just a cutlery brand. Each product is inspired by my childhood memories, aiming to bring the joy of spending time with loved ones. Through Bapmoo, I hope to add a spoonful of smiles to your precious mealtime. Your bright smile is our brand's pride and quality assurance.
